Meet our Athletics Director:
Corey Cochran
Corey Cochran stands at the helm of HOPE Academy Athletics, serving with passion and vision as Athletic Director and Student Director. Since 2020, he has been instrumental in shaping an athletics program where character, faith, and excellence intersect on every field, court, and trail.
Mr. Cochran leads our growing sports community, encompassing soccer, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, golf, flag football, and mountain biking, with a heart for developing Christ-like character in every athlete. Under his stewardship, our athletics program reflects the transformative truth of 1 Peter 2:9 and has forged strong partnerships across competitive leagues to elevate our students’ experience.
In his role as Student Director, Mr. Cochran ensures that students' interests are deeply integrated into the broader student life experience, creating balance, fostering leadership, and nurturing community across grades and stages of development. His influence reaches far beyond strategy and scheduling; it's seen in every act of mentorship, every announcement at home games, and every student he has encouraged to shine for God's glory.
