VISIT HOPE ACADEMY
Visiting HOPE Academy is one of the best ways to experience who we are and learn how our students grow academically, spiritually, and relationally. Your first step is to complete our Inquiry Form. Once submitted, you will receive access to register for an upcoming Open House or, for families exploring Kindergarten, A Day in K Preview.
Families may begin an application before visiting campus. However, at least one parent must attend an Open House or A Day in K Preview before an admissions decision can be made.
A Day in K Tour
Designed specifically for parents of rising Kindergarten students, A Day in K Preview offers a closer look at the joyful, intentional, and Christ-centered Kindergarten experience at HOPE Academy. During this parent-only event, you will meet members of our Kindergarten team, observe our classrooms in action, and learn how HOPE partners with parents to build a strong foundation of faith and academic excellence.
A Day in K Preview is offered once in September. Attendance fulfills the required campus-visit portion of the admissions process, so families who attend do not need to register for an additional Open House.
Open House
Attending an Open House is one of the best ways to get to know HOPE Academy and see our mission in action. You will hear from school leadership, teachers, parents, and student ambassadors; tour our campus and classrooms; and learn more about our unique hybrid schedule, home-learning days, academics, student life, and admissions process.
At least one parent must attend an Open House or A Day in K Preview before an admissions decision can be made. Families may submit an application before attending, but they must register for and attend one of these events before receiving an offer of enrollment.
Open House includes a presentation, conversations with members of the HOPE community, and a walking tour of our beautiful campus. Younger children are welcome, although parents may find it easier to focus on the presentation without them. Please contact us in advance if you need accommodations during your visit.
Our Campus
Meaningful learning takes place throughout our Learning Center, Worship Center, and Upper School building. Our lakeside campus also features a ball field, outdoor gathering spaces, and a pavilion that provide room for recreation, connection, and doing life together as a community.
HOPE Academy is an independent Christian school that leases its campus space from West Cabarrus Church. This arrangement allows us to provide a warm and welcoming environment for students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Additional Admissions Events
As families move through the admissions process, they may be invited to participate in additional opportunities to experience life at HOPE Academy.
Worship With Me Day
By invitation, families may attend a Worship With Me Day and experience the heart of HOPE’s Christ-centered community. Lower School families in Kindergarten through fifth grade and Upper School families in grades six through twelve may be invited to join us for morning worship and a glimpse into community life at HOPE.
Upper School Shadow Day
Rising seventh through twelfth grade applicants may be invited to participate in an Upper School Shadow Day after an application has been submitted and initially reviewed. Invited students spend a school day alongside current Royals, attend classes, and experience HOPE’s welcoming Upper School culture firsthand. Shadow Days are offered by invitation only and are not available for general registration.
