Admissions Process & Checklist
Welcome to HOPE Academy!
We are grateful for your interest and look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside your family through the admissions journey.
Getting Started
Complete the Online Application
Take time to thoughtfully complete each section, as this is our first introduction to your family.
Student Questionnaire
Optional for Kindergarten–2nd grade applicants.
Submit References
Please provide contact information for three non-family references:
- Personal
- Spiritual
- Educational (optional for Kindergarten applicants)
Our system will automatically send each reference a form to complete.
Application Fee
Submit the non-refundable $200 application fee to finalize your application.
Please note: Submission of an application does not guarantee an admissions offer.

Tuition Assistance (If Needed)
We recommend completing your admissions application first.
You may then explore our Tuition Assistance resources for next steps and details.
Submit Required Documents
Applicants for 1st grade and above will need to provide additional documents, including report cards and any available standardized test results.
Monitor Your Application
You can track your progress at any time through your Family Portal.
Our team will reach out if anything additional is needed as we review your materials.
What Happens After the Family Interview?
Following your family interview, our Admissions Team will prayerfully review each application. Families can expect to receive an update via email or phone within two weeks, or as space becomes available.
If Accepted
Enrollment Packet
Families will receive an enrollment packet to complete in order to secure their child’s spot.
Enrollment Fee & First Month's Tuition
A non-refundable enrollment fee of $250 per student (capped at $500 per family), along with the first month’s tuition, is due within 10 days of accepting the offer.
Payment Options
Families may choose to pay tuition in full or through 10 equal monthly payments after the initial Enrollment Fee & First Month's Tuition. Full details will be outlined in the enrollment packet.
A non-refundable resource fee, due in June, is outlined in our Tuition & Fees information.
Tuition Assistance

Applications for tuition assistance may be submitted after completing the admissions application.
Tuition Assistance through NCSEAA is applied to August payments/remaining Tuition after the initial Enrollment Fee & First Month's Tuition.
A Thoughtful & Prayerful Process
At HOPE Academy, each application is prayerfully and thoughtfully reviewed with great care. We take time to consider every student and family as we seek to discern the best fit for both the child and our school community.
While we would love to serve every family who applies, we recognize that HOPE Academy may not always be the right fit for every student. When that is the case, our desire is always what is best for the child and family, and we aim to communicate decisions with clarity, care, and respect.
As part of this process, it is important that all information provided throughout the application is complete and accurate. This includes, but is not limited to, academic records, statements of faith, learning needs or diagnoses, and any other relevant background information. In situations where information is withheld, incomplete, or does not align with what is later shared or discovered, HOPE Academy reserves the right to pause or discontinue the admissions process, or revoke an offer of enrollment if necessary.
HOPE Academy may end the admissions process at any stage as we prayerfully seek to uphold the mission, standards, and student support capacities of our school.
